Kun Kun Trace-Kun or Trace Neo is one of Lala's inventions.

Features

This invention looks a dog which detects particular persons by smelling the objectives. This invention can talk and suffixes "Dasu" in conversation. Afterwards, Kun Kun Trace-Kun Kai appears and suffixes "Wan (Woof)".

In appearance, a white robotic dog with Deviluke's symbol at its back near tail, and red nose. But its second version, Kai, has a blue nose instead of the former version.

It is mostly used for looking for Rito by Lala in the series.

It belongs to the inventions that has changed in appearance at least once in the anime.

In the OVA 1, it appears together with Cancel Ammo Launcher-Kun.

Appearance

In the chapter 7 of To LOVE-Ru (and episode 6 of first anime), it is used by Lala for searching for Rito with its smelling sense and led by Rito's innner clothes. And they find Rito searching Haruna, whom is cornered by Ghi Bree in this attempt.

In chapter 102 (and OVA 1 of first anime), it is used for trailing Riko, whom is in Saki's residence.

In the chapter 146, the second version "Kai" is used for trailing Rito who is with Haruna (both naked) in a dark room of Mikado's Clinic (teleported by Lala's invention Pyon-Pyon Warp-Kun). The anime adaptation in episode 2 of Motto To LOVE-Ru add an extra scene where it attaches Yui's thigh and attempts to strip Yui's panties.

In the OVA 3 of Darkness, it is seen as the renovated version "Kai" with a blue nose, is found along with other inventions. However, they all seem to be turned off.

Trivia

Kun Kun means "to sniff" in Japanese.
This invention is voiced by Tomoyuki Higuchi in Japanese and George Peter in English.
