Haruna is out for a walk in the park with her dog Maron. Back at Rito's house, Lala and Mikan shower together. Rito then sits watching a promo for a new show called "Super-Hot Magic-Girl Kyoko." He then contemplates what Ren said. When Lala walks in, Rito looks at her and blushes, and when she asks him what's wrong, he turns away dismissing anything and runs to go out for a walk. Mikan then explains to Lala that Rito is going through adolescence. Rito then wonders why he is so over-sensitive about Lala, why she likes him, and insisting that he likes Haruna. Rito then has an inner-battle deciding whether or not he likes Lala. While he assures himself he likes Haruna he cannot shake feelings he has developed for Lala. Meanwhile, Ren sits at a park bench, feeling depressed that Lala could forget him. Ren then runs into Haruna when her dog comes up to him barking. Haruna then sees Ren crying, and doesn't believe him when he claims that it is sweat, and knows it is regarding Lala. Haruna then tells Ren that she envies how open he can be about his love. Rito then accidentally walks into "Love-Love-Park," a park for couples. Rito then sees Ren holding Haruna, which he misinterprets (Ren caught her when Maron tripped her, as he was chasing after a cat). Rito then freaks out.
